The only good thing about this place were the 24-hour reception and the shower in the room. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to all the attractions. Plus, there was a nice view from the window that I enjoyed.

Where do I start? First of all, the cleanliness was absolutely appalling.

our recent stay in lisbon was a delightful experience, but Hostal Africa Do Sul truly exceeded our expectations. The friendly owner gave us a room upgrade with a shower, and the convenient 24-hour reception was a plus. The location couldn't have been better!

Cleanliness was lacking, stains on bed sheets.

The triple room at Hostal Africa Do Sul was a true haven for someone like me who craves a direct connection with nature. The private bathroom with a shower was clean and refreshing, and the natural light streaming in from the balcony made my mornings feel serene and rejuvenating. It felt like my own little slice of paradise!

Personally, I found the balcony to be a bit small, but hey, that's just my opinion. Others might still appreciate the cozy little space and enjoy soaking up the sun or watching the city buzz by.

This hostel is in a prime location, making it perfect for backpackers looking to explore the city. the friendly owner, who also serves as the host, went above and beyond by offering us a room with a shower, even though we had booked one without.
